As this column goes to press, the UN is debating a resolution that may result in a military conflict (with or without the UN) in the very near future. In the event of such a conflict, TV schedules may be changed temporarily to carry additional news. UK Gold and BBC Kids would probably not be affected, and most of the US stations air Doctor Who at non-peak hours where it is unlikely to be affected, but you never know. In the unlikely situation that world events extensively change the Doctor Who broadcast schedule in this or an upcoming week, I'll send out a revised edition when changes are known.
While I try to keep the column up to date, I do sometimes miss late changes to schedules. If you see TWIDW's information getting out of synch with what your local station is actually airing, let me know ASAP.

Joey Reynolds' weekly radio show for sci-fi news and interviews, which can be heard online worldwide. Doctor Who news usually discussed during the show. This week - Walt Cunningham from the Apollo 7 mission. WWNN does not have a news department, so this program should remain on the schedule no matter what.
Business Talk Radio Network http://www.businesstalkradio.net/
Late Sun/Early Mon 2-6AM EST (11PM-3AM PST, 7-11AM GMT, 6-10PM AEDT ) Sci-Fi Overdrive

http://www.businesstalkradio.net/weekday_host/Archives/sfo.shtml - archives in MP3 format
Live audio link at Business Talk website - requires Windows Media Player.
National version of Interstellar Transmissions, though probably easiest to hear in timezones outside the USA. This week - two hours discussing sci-fi news, followed by interviews with David Kemper of Farscape. Business Talk Radio is unlikely to disrupt its regular programming lineup in the event of a shooting war, though individual stations might.

Late Fri 1:35-3:25AM, Sat 7:15-9AM GMT Day of the Daleks movie
I guess the Daleks felt put upon. Not only was their unsuccessful invasion of the Earth in the 22nd Century turned into a massively popular early story of a British science fiction series, but it was adapted into a Feature film starring Peter Cushing. So, they react in the most dangerous way possible - they change history. Now the 3rd Doctor, Jo, and UNIT have to set things right, before the Day Of The Daleks comes. And the Doctor doesn't even have a working TARDIS to help out.
Late Sat 12:45-2:25AM, Sun 7:20-9AM GMT The Curse of Peladon movie
The Galactic Federation (aka the UN in Space) is considering welcoming Peladon into its alliance. But some of the delegates want to keep Peladon out, even by lethal means. Can the Doctor get a unanimous vote, or will the Federation proove irrelevant? And why do these debates always involve confusing vicious fights in pits and a cloudy picture in the middle of the story?
